F-18 Fighter Aircraft & Components
HKA has been providing technical manual support for the front line F-18
Strike Fighter under various contracts continuously since 1994. The support
provided includes the preparation of Changes, Revisions, Basic Issues and
electronic conversion, as well as development and maintenance of documentation
style sheets and templates.
Source data includes engineering drawings, reports, maintenance plans, technical publications deficiency reports, mark-ups, and interim rapid action change reports. Due to the location of the customer (California) project requirements and administration, source material, and deliveries are electronically and express mail delivered between California and our Corporate office in Hagerstown, MD. These arrangements have been so successful that the customer has deemed the establishment of a local HKA facility in San Diego as unnecessary.
HKA has been awarded two consecutive prime contracts and two consecutive first-tier subcontracts to provide the F-18 Program with this level of support. To date, all tasks have been performed successfully, delivering over 90,000 pages without a single rejection.
