Our in-depth experience ranges from incorporating changes in existing technical manuals, to collecting and compiling source data, to developing new technical manuals from engineering data. We excel in military specification and vendor manuals, and digital conversions.
The best business strategy, processes, and technology mean very little if our customers are not provided with what they need when they need it. Customer satisfaction is our sole focus because a happy customer is a repeat customer, and a deliriously happy customer is a team partner.
We will not take on a project if we’re not convinced that our performance will evoke such customer satisfaction, and we will not consider a job complete until our customer’s expectations are exceeded! This is why many of our current customers have been good customers for decades.

Successfully Performing Problematic Projects
During 60+ years of performance as a developer of technical documentation for equipment already in the field or about to be fielded, the resolution of problematic projects has become a specialty of ours.
For all of these projects HKA performed, technical editing and review by highly qualified and experienced technical writers/editors, proofreading, composition (layout), and electronic and hardcopy deliveries in compliance with customer requirements.
In addition, on several of these projects we also performed Government contract administration and delivered end products in compliance with Government content and format specifications in a restricted/classified document environment.
The level of effort that was required to successfully perform these task included but is not limited to:
- Development of new documents from engineering data,
- Preparation of complete revisions of existing technical documents from engineering data,
- Incorporation of changes into existing technical documents,
- Digital conversion of existing technical documents (hardcopy to digital & digital to digital).
