Employment Opportunity – Logistics Support Analyst
- Lead with a mentoring attitude, while playing an active role in producing LSAR data and products.
- Teach others the principles/details of LSA, and manage a projects and professionally represent the company to our customers (OEMs or Government) and their customers (Government).
- Interface with customers as Project Manager for LSA data related issues.
- Attend and represent at project-related Logistic events.
- Perform functional and data analysis as required to fulfill the data development requirements of individual projects.
- Possess understanding of complete LSA process from Acquisition through Sustainment.
- Analyze, verify and quality check developed data for Logistics projects.
- Serve as Logistics SME resource for all logisticians, technical writers and managers.
- Serve as trainer of company personnel at various levels in all aspects of logistics as needed.
- Lead in the development of standardized practices and SOPs for LSA.
- Evaluate RFP requirements and participate in solution/proposal estimates and development.
- Perform Technical Writing of operation and maintenance procedures as required.
Logistics Support Analyst must have training/experience developing all aspects of Logistics Support Analysis data for Data Elements related to Maintenance Planning, Provisioning, etc… to the piece part level.
Provide engineering support including: parts provisioning and sparing analysis, LRU identification, Level Of Repair Analysis, logistics supportability analysis, Maintenance Task Analysis and planning, FMEA, RCM and Life Cycle Cost estimates.
Identify SMR coding of component assemblies and piece parts.
Responsible for working with design engineers to ensure logistics concerns are addressed throughout the design cycle of new equipment and existing equipment undergoing upgrades.
Accomplish initial and follow-on provisioning and maintenance planning reviews and actions to establish the necessary repair parts/supplies and maintenance tasking required to support equipment during its life cycle in its environment.
Experience identifying and documenting LSA data using structured logistics database software producing LSAR deliverables in accordance with MIL-STD-1388-2B, MIL-PRF-49506, GEIA-STD-0007 specifications required.
Must be capable of understanding and evaluating detailed system solutions based on review of program specifications, projected operation and support scenarios, engineering drawings, and schematics.
Experience in military maintenance, government supply chain, logistic support analysis, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting preferred.
Ability to interpret and review engineering drawings/drawing packages, schematics and test documentation for determination of provisioning requirements and development of logistics data and technical manuals.
Experience with DOD aircraft and their support equipment maintenance environment desirable.
Familiarity with DoD Operation & Maintenance technical manual content and format specifications and technical manual development processes preferable.
Infrequent travel required to participate in logistics events. Proficiency in MS Office products and ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance required.

Technical Writer must have experience writing, editing & developing technical manuals for various DoD weapon systems and related support Equipment (SE) covering maintenance, operation, repair, theory of operation & troubleshooting in accordance with military content/format specifications.
Maintenance experience with military aircraft and their support equipment preferred.
Read & analyze engineering drawings & schematics to understand maintenance concept & operation of equipment to the piece part level required.

of all the applications and utilities used in the production process and the ability to install, configure upgrade and maintain all existing software and ability to evaluate new software and systems for future requirements.
